Your Tour through Munich

Your individual tour can begin and finish wherever you like. Tours can take anything from 45 minutes to several hours or day trips, always depending on how much time you would like to spend with us and how much of Munich you want to see. Our portfolio includes all parts of Munich and its surroundings.

We also offer guided bus tours, either on your bus or on one provided by one of our partners.
Tours can also include culinary elements like short stops for a snack at the market, drinks at a bar or a meal at one of the many Bavarian guest houses of Munich.

We are looking forward to compose a tour specifically designed for you or you can choose from some of our most popular tours:

The Old Town of Munich - History and Stories

This tour is perfect to get a first impression of the Munich old town and hear entertaining tales about its exciting history. Usually starting at Marienplatz, the center of Munich, we get to know things like where the city’s name comes from and why the city’s mascot is a kid in a monk’s robe.

Other stops of the tour are popular sights like St. Peter’s Church, Viktualienmarkt, the Hofbräuhaus, the Church of Our Lady and many more.

The walk usually takes 90-120 minutes.

Myths and Legends

On a walk through the old town of Munich, we learn why the Devil left his footprint in the Church of Our Lady, where you can find a cannonball embedded into a church’s outer walls and why a dragon is climbing up a corner of the New City Hall (and how to get rid of him). These and many more mysteries are resolved during this tour.

The walk usually takes 90-120 minutes.

Munich under Hitler

Learn how Munich succumbed to Hitler and his National Socialist party in the 1920s and how Munich deals with its historic legacy. Following historic locations in the city, squares and buildings, the tour highlights the steps to Hitler’s rise into power and how the city was utilized as a cultic place of worship for fascist propaganda.

The tour can vary from 90 minutes to 3 hours.

Dachau Memorial Site
KZ Gedenkstätte Dachau

The tour through the former grounds of the Dachau concentration camp is carried out by a guide, who is licensed by the memorial site. The goal is to offer an insight into the ways the first concentration camp of Germany, erected in 1933, worked and into the everyday life and terror of more than 200.000 prisoners from 40 nations, of whom more than 41.500 were murdered, starved or tortured to death.

The minimum age for visitors is 13 years.
